Christine Prater

Hello! I’m Christine Prater, and I’m excited to embark on this new chapter as a licensed insurance agent, serving the vibrant and welcoming community of Sargent. Born on December 24th in Houston, I spent 12 years living in Missouri with my husband and our daughter before returning to Texas in 2022 to settle in Sargent.

 

Since moving here, I’ve been deeply committed to giving back to the community. I initially volunteered at the Sargent Branch Public Library, where I helped launch the After School Craft Program “Pickup Club” and “Hooked on Crafting” for adults. In 2023, I began my professional journey with Schoppe Insurance Agency, and proudly joined the Sargent Area Lions Club, where I serve as the Membership Director.

 

As an insurance agent, my mission is to provide the kind of compassionate, honest service that I would want for my own family. Whether you’re looking for coverage for your home, car, or business, I’m here to guide you with integrity and care every step of the way.

 

Outside the office, you’ll likely find me enjoying the simple pleasures of life—whether that’s spending time with friends, diving into new creative projects, taking a stroll along Sargent beach, or making memories with my husband of 25 years and our crazy cats. Ready for adventure, I’m always looking for ways to engage with my community, build lasting relationships, and enjoy the moments that matter most.
